What’s up my peeps? No, I haven’t disappeared, just working on new material, new deals, changes in life and taking things to the next level. God, I miss the stage. Soon enough my band will be learning the new songs and we’ll be rocking it out for you. Miss you much!!!

Let's all pray for Sunshine tomorrow for my Sunkist SunLab show at the Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning. I'm excited about seeing all of the fabulous hot air balloons. Maybe I'll get to take ride in one. I've always wanted to do that. What a magnificent perspective it must be from one, soaring across the landscape of the countryside. Think I've been city locked for too long. We have a few car loads driving out to the festival tomorrow and still have some room. If anyone wants to join our crew, just email me at christine@christinelucas.com.

Last night I sang happy birthday to Andy Gershon (V2 Records) at a wonderful little surprise birthday party for him. I met some very cool and interesting people. I love meeting fascinating people. Everyone there was so nice. I could tell Andy is very loved. Happy Birthday, Mr. President!

Hey there! I'm back in New York now after spending a week in Las Vegas filming a show I host, "VIP Parties Uncensored." It was so much fun. Besides working, while I was out there I got to see "O", finally, and try my hand at real deal poker in the Bellagio poker room...and I WON! I beat out everyone at the table and it was my first time playing at a real poker table. They all thought I was some kind of shark. Then after the game was over I let them know I was a virgin poker player. Too funny.

This has been such a exciting and happy week. Congratulations to two of my very best friends.
My best friend from high school, Kristin (Barrett) Holt, just had a beautiful baby boy, Kyle - a ten and a half pounder (whew!). Way to go, Kris!
Also, congratulations to my dear friend, Michelle Muench (aka Munchie) on her engagement to her wonderful Andrew. I am particularly proud of Michelle for the bravery it took to make many significant changes in her life this year. Many blessings to the beautiful couple!
Enjoy this holiday weekend. Loves!!!

Hello! I am back in New York now and working on some new and exciting music. Got hooked up with some new producers which should put an interesting spin on my music. I don't have any plans to play live anytime in the immediate future, but that could easily change. I really just want to focus on the new music right now. I'm sure as it moves along, I'll have another show and incorporate some of the new songs. You know I absolutely LOVE to perform, so I don't think I can stay away too long. I must be patient and stay focused on the writing and recording for now. Miss you!

What a blast Saturday night at Mansion was. Thanks to everyone who came out to support and thank you to Michael Capponi for asking me to perform. I loved singing to a pack club. It was interesting for me because most of the people in the club didn't know that I was going to be performing, unlike when you know you are going to a Christine Lucas concert. The crowd responded very well and everyone had fun. My friend Tommy thought it took balls to stop the hip hop party and jump up in the middle of it and give a little show. I hadn't looked at it that way. I grab every chance I get to perform my original music. It just feels right!
